Jose Portillo
I’m José Portillo, a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, colorist, and musician with over 9 years of experience in videography. I work across all aspects of a project, from filming and editing to color grading and audio management. I believe in being involved in every stage of production to ensure the final product is cohesive and polished.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with incredible brands like Cirque du Soleil and Rolling Stone. I’ve worked in various areas of filmmaking, including music videos, live sessions, weddings, commercials, fashion videos, documentaries, YouTube content, social events, and sports.
In 2018, I founded Oko Media, a video production company aimed at helping small and medium-sized businesses promote their products and services through high-quality visual content. My goal has always been to create work that leaves a lasting impact and resonates with audiences.
I’m passionate about working on projects that connect with real, deep emotions. As a musician, I also pay close attention to sound design, making sure the audio is as refined as the visuals. My approach to each project is driven by a dedication to detail and the desire to produce the best possible result.
